YOUR FUTURE JOB

As a PRODUCT VERIFICATION ENGINEER at Melexis, you will participate in the definition and be responsible for the execution of the physical verification and characterization of magnetic position sensors ICs.

More specifically, you will:

• Develop and implement a characterization solution with a high level of automation in conformance to Melexis common platform (Hardware and Software):
- National Instruments (NI) PXI system with a set of plugged-in modules;
- Load board schematic and PCB design using Altium Designer;
- Software development using NI LabVIEW;
• Perform measurements of all IC parameters on this setup based on the inputs/requirements of the IC Design Team;
• Develop and perform the right measurements to identify the root cause in case of IC bugs;
• Prepare and analyze the measurement data, applying statistical methods, to provide clear and valuable feedback to the IC design team;
• Document according to MLX procedures and templates. Keep the characterization documentation up-to-date.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Electronics or Microelectronics field or Applied Physics;
• Practical electronics experience, including:
- Circuit schematic (Altium Designer is considered as an advantage);
- Measurements techniques and benchtop instruments automation;
- NI LabVIEW experience is considered a strong advantage;
- NI PXI equipment experience is a plus;
• Strong motivation and hands-on mentality;
• Proactive and creative thinking;
• Effective communication skills in English;
• Analytical skills;
• Systematic problem-solving technic.
