DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR





Responsibilities:

* Own high-availability production database systems;

* Perform database administration tasks, including performance monitoring and tuning, and query optimization, backups, disaster recovery, general DB architecture;

* Monitor databases for problems, analyze and diagnose their origin.



Suitable candidates MUST HAVE:

* 5+ years of professional experience in database administration (pref. working with MySQL);

* Professional experience in maintaining large, high-volume and high-availability production database clusters;

* Strong knowledge and experience with SQL;

* Deep knowledge in data modelling and schema design;

* Good command of English (both written and verbal).



Advantages:

* Experience with NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, Redis, etc.

* Professional experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle and willingness to work with other DBs.

* Prior working experience in big enterprise level projects in financial tech space.
